Our Story
Create Lab inspires children to create with technology and develop computational thinking skills – attributes that are key to becoming 21st Century Leaders. Our joy comes from encouraging children to be curious, creative, problem solvers, and collaborators.
Our partnerships with leading academics from top global institutions (the University of Oxford, National University of Singapore, George Washington University, and University College London) enable us to deliver programs, around coding, robotics, design thinking, and STEM, that foster our goal.
The courses are taught using age-appropriate technology platforms. During early years (5-7 years of age) we keep the pedagogy screenless and children learn science and technology concepts through Tinker Lab and Beebot Robots. For Tweens (8 + years of age) we run the best coding courses where they can develop their own stories, game, and apps using MIT’s programming tools like Scratch(R) and AppInventor (R). Older Children (12+ years of age) can engage in our world-class courses to learn Python, Web Design (using HTML and Java), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML).

University of Oxford
Ken is a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Oxford and has held various teaching positions at MIT & other global institutions. He has also been a consultant to the Rand Corporation and IBM and a research scientist at Xerox PARC. Ken is a pioneer in Computational Thinking and modeling, artificial intelligence, and technology-enhanced learning with a particular focus on programming languages for kids
Prof. Suranga Nanayakkara
National University of Singapore
Suranga is the Head of the Augmented Human Lab at the University of Auckland and is a Visiting Faculty at MIT Media Lab. He is also an inventor of several enabling devices for the visually impaired. His work has earned him several global awards including the Innovators Under 35 award by MIT Technology Review and the Research Excellence Award from UOA. He is a TEDx speaker & INK Fellow
Dr. Priya Sridhar
University College London
Priya specializes in behavioral sciences & human-computer interaction. She is a proponent of human-centered design, delivering accessible and desirable experiences for products and services. She is also a consultant with UCL, where she helps drive innovative and scalable pedagogical practices in educational technologies for schools. She has a Ph.D. from SUTD and was a visiting scholar at UCLA
Prof. Shivraj Kanungo
George Washington University
Shivraj is Vice Dean for Graduate Programs at George Washington University. He has over 30-years of experience in IT management & software engineering. Prior to Washington, Shivraj was a professor at IIT Delhi. He is also a widely published author in prestigious scientific journals, and has authored several best-selling books on business applications of technology
